I get to brag about my amazing husband, Victor Vergara Tonight, I had the privilege of supporting him WHILE he supported an organization whose mission is dear to his heart. Breakthrough Central Texas is an organization that focuses on helping 1st gen students "breakthrough" post-secondary educational opportunities. Being a 1st gen himself, his "adoptive" grandparents, Frank and Joyce Hildebrand supported his college dreams and paved the way for his success. Tonight, he honored their memory and legacy by supporting an organization that focuses on just that, paving the way to success for young adults in Austin. I'm so proud of you, my love! Keep on rocking! 🤘

What an outstanding evening at the Breakthrough Central Texas Benefit Concert! This was my second year attending, and the inspiration bloomed greater than ever. Breakthrough Central Texas is the leading college access nonprofit in Texas, which has supported first generation college graduates for over 20 years. Congratulations to Breakthrough Central Texas on a successful and inspiring Benefit Concert last night 👏 I enjoyed meeting two current Breakthrough Scholars, attending UT and TXST respectively, and learning about their college experience and post-college ambitions. Both shared that Breakthrough has been a tremendous force of support on their college journey. St.Edward's University proudly partners with Breakthrough to support 61 scholars on the Hilltop, and two of their stories were shared last night 💙💛 As a fundraiser, I was thrilled to see that thermometer rise during the fundraising portion of the night🌡️. What a great evening 👏

The 2024 Breakthrough Central Texas Benefit Concert was incredible! Serving as a student ambassador is truly an honor. I’ve been a Breakthrough student since sixth grade, and thanks to their tremendous support, I’ve had so many amazing opportunities come my way! I’m incredibly grateful to be part of something as amazing as Breakthrough. This program has been more than just support; it’s been a lifeline, a community, and a constant source of inspiration. Since joining in sixth grade, Breakthrough has not only opened doors I never thought possible but has also believed in me every step of the way. Being a student ambassador now feels like coming full circle. I’m honored to give back to a program that has given me so much hope, opportunity, and confidence.
