So many researchers in the STEM community have asked me about how to write up their journal article FASTER. And I’ve seen so many make the mistake of wasting months working on a draft without much being able to finish it with any confidence. And that’s just backwards. So, I’m thinking of putting together a FREE 6-Step Research Article Writing Course. This course would be designed to help researchers like you, who need to publish their work, to write up your paper effectively in 30 days. And then get it published in a high-impact journal without losing your mind. Would this be of interest to you? Please tell me in the comments or in a DM. I’m looking for honest feedback. Thanks in advance!

Do you write a lot for work? This poll is for you, my friend! Have you ever wished your organization had its own Writing Center? With your own writing expert who is stoked to help you improve your skills? If so, what question would you ask them first? 1. Help me write this important thing. The deadline is Friday. 2. Talk to me about writing a more competitive deliverable. 3. Help me improve my presentation skills for a client meeting. 4. Tell me how to improve my writing. Do you write a lot for work-- like research papers, reports, presentations, etc.? What makes writing hard for you? For me, it's the sitting still. To write successfully, I need to do it early in the morning where I can embrace the quiet and do my best to get into a deep work head space. It's uncomfortable at first. But the discomfort lessens the more regularly I show up. And eventually the ideas appear and start to make sense. Dorothy Parker sums it up well: “I hate writing; I love having written.” What about you? What is your biggest writing challenge? #esl #strategiccommunications #research #energy #stem #writing #nationallabs
