When hiring professional recruitment agencies, less is more – at least when done right. This is how you find that one partner: 1️⃣ Find a recruiting agency that focuses on outcomes over output. When an agency focuses on outcomes over outputs, they’re able to be strategic and thoughtful in how they work for you. 2️⃣ Engage with an agency that has a proactive discovery process. A strategic recruiting agency knows that a deep understanding of a candidate’s skills, background, and core values are table stakes. 3️⃣ Make sure your talent partner prioritizes constant communication and feedback. Constant feedback and communication is critical for a recruiting agency to attract the right candidates. If something isn’t working, you should be able to reach out, identify the mistake, and fix it going forward. The inverse is also true. 4️⃣ Focus on longevity. Building genuine, trusting relationships doesn’t happen overnight – the same holds true to building meaningful relationships with talent. It requires years of consistent communication and relationship-building. These relationships often deliver the highest-quality talent.
