CEO * Broad River Retail * 2024 Home Furnishings Retailer of the Year * Stories from the River Podcast * Win the Day!

Thankful Thursday Post It's been a challenging and difficult seven days for all of those impacted by the significant devastation from Hurricane Helene. And recovery will be tough and take some time. The tragic loss of life is awful. Our collective hearts and prayers are with all of the people, the families, the businesses, and the organizations who have been hurt and suffered loss of any kind from this storm. We did receive a deep sigh of relief on Monday morning when we had finally connected with all of our Memory Makers and could safely state that 100% of our Memory Makers from Broad River Retail were safe and accounted for. While we are still working on crisis intervention and support by getting supplies out to our sites, working to help restore power in our locations, etc., I just want to give a shout-out to those who have stepped up to help. Our people have been amazing. Our Leaders. Our MMX Department. Our IT Department. Our Facilities Team. Our Retail Teams. Our Supply Chain and Home Delivery Teams. Our Communications Team. In fact, all of our Departments. Our Memory Makers offering to help and assist other Memory Makers. But, we've also heard from other retailers across the country, our friends in the industry, partners and vendors.... so many people and companies offering to help, volunteering, donating, driving supplies to sites, sending supplies, praying, and just stepping up. So many text messages, email messages, phone calls, etc. It's times like these when the goodness of people and in humanity really shows up and shows out. As human beings, we have so much more in common with each other than our differences. I can't help but be grateful for the goodness in people, especially in times of need. Thank you. We will stay CONNECTED -- we are all in this together -- we will pull through together. 🙏 Manny Rodrigues Stacey McCormick Caitlin Walsh Kim Harkness Tim Clouse Heather Greenwood Jocelyn Jones, M.A. Tim Sayles Robert Ferguson William Woodman, CMA Lynn Knowles Janet Leimkuhler Brian Deckelnick Carl Hillesland Dana Mallory Chris Wright
