For many BronxWorks staff, their drive and passion for their work at BronxWorks comes from lived experiences and love for their community. Eliana De Los Santos is a perfect example of that, participating in the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) as a teen and now working as Assistant Program Director for Youth Workforce Programs at BronxWorks. Eliana has been working at BronxWorks for over three years, but her career working in Youth Workforce initiatives spans over a decade. Learn more about Eliana and everything else happening at BronxWorks in our August 2024 Newsletter at https://lnkd.in/gWb8Gu7H

The first BronxWorks Bring Back The Jump tournament concluded with a thrilling win for the team from Twin Parks West! Bring Back The Jump invited folks from select BronxWorks locations to form Double Dutch teams and compete for prizes. The goal of Bring Back The Jump was to bring community members together and teach younger generations the joy of jumping rope. Congratulations to all the teams who competed and thank you to all who helped make the event a success, especially our partners Camber Property Group, Gilbane Building Company, Kraus Management, Inc., and L+M Development Partners LLC.
