BROOKSMADE GOURMET FOODS The story of Brooksmade Gourmet Foods starts a long way from exceptional tasting sauces, condiments, and rubs. Founder Chef Walter Brooks experienced food insecurity as a child, but his strong spirit and entrepreneurial drive led him to successful ventures in both the hospitality and automotive industries. A life-changing medical event turned him toward what would become his true passion in life: cooking. Walter has always been committed to delivering food that tasted good no matter the request or occasion. He created his line of gourmet clean-label sauces to make it easy for everyone to create delicious, soulful food in the comfort of their kitchens while helping cultivate the next generation of Black entrepreneurs. From the unexpected chocolate barbecue sauce that first brought him local fame to his barbecue restaurant and catering company that attracted a diverse fan base, Brooksmade Gourmet Foods products are versatile and delight every palate. From beginners to master cooks, everyone can use our delicious products to make amazing meals. With pure, natural goodness, Brooksmade Gourmet Foods products contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial additives, fillers, or artificial preservatives. He also serves on the board of Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority. Through Brooksmade, Walter has had the opportunity to travel the world connecting people to great food and inspiring them to get in the kitchen.
