This week, I am proud to celebrate 35 years of service with Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company. It has been an amazing honor to work for a company that is dedicated to "Advancing the Kingdom by Serving the Church". Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with an incredible team of individuals who share the same passion for our mission. I have been blessed to be spend my entire insurance career in a job I love, and with people I love and respect. I also recognize that is not as common as it once was. Sometimes that is an individual choice and sometimes mergers, acquisitions, downsizing or other economic reasons can force job or career changes. As I hit this milestone, however, it reminds me of the importance of finishing strong. Finishing strong is important because it demonstrates perseverance, determination, and resilience. It shows that you are committed to seeing a task through to the end, even when faced with challenges or obstacles. Finishing strong also helps to build confidence and self-esteem, as it provides a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. It can also leave a lasting impression on others, as it shows that you are reliable and dependable. I never want to be that guy that people say about, “Why is he still here?”, but rather “What are we going to do if he leaves?” Ultimately, finishing strong is about pushing yourself to do your best and striving for excellence in all that you do. So, my advice to anyone, whether you’re on the job one week, one year, or have one year left until retirement, is that it is never too soon to think about finishing strong. I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have come my way, and I look forward to at least a few more years of serving alongside my colleagues here at Brotherhood Mutual. May we all finish strong together.
