More than 40 years ago, Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen founded a new law firm in St. Louis focused on giving injured people what they needed and wanted most — justice with dignity. Since then, our firm has brought hope to thousands of people across Missouri, Kansas, and Southern Illinois. Every one of our 200 team members and more than 50 attorneys have been specially chosen for their experience, their grit, and their determination to win. They come from all walks of life and they have been honored locally and nationally for their expertise and success — in and out of the courtroom. Together, we’ve won more than $1 billion in justice and compensation for our clients. But success isn’t only measured in dollars and cents. We believe that kindness and respect for our friends, neighbors, and colleagues are the real measure. That’s why we’re proud to be a local law firm with deep roots in our communities. It’s why we partner with dozens of organizations to make our communities a better place to live and work — after all, we live and work here too. More than any of this, we measure our success by the thousands of satisfied clients who refer us to their friends and family with a simple recommendation — call Brown & Crouppen. “They took good care of me and they’ll do the same for you.”

A productive and inspiring two days attending the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLC3) and MetroWire Media Forum & Networking Events! Yesterday: I had the pleasure of attending the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLC3) St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers' Project Tour and Happy Hour, featuring the Kings Hill Historic Redevelopment by Third Man Development. Hany Abounader, the passionate owner, guided the event, and his excitement about this project was contagious as he shared the impressive design and structural details. Brian Stoesz, VP at PARIC Corporation, highlighted the challenges of retrofitting such an old structure, especially with the added complexities brought by the pandemic. HOK played a huge role in the architectural restoration, sustainability, and interior design, which is truly magazine-cover worthy, good job Jodie Crohn and Dave Yates! Brown & Crouppen Law Firm brought their signature quirky flair to the project—who can forget that Airstream RV right in the middle of the office space? The standout features, like the hanging steel staircase and who can forget those architectural windows from this early 1900s industrial building. What made the event even better was the post-tour networking session—one of the best I’ve attended! Huge thanks to Hany, PARIC Corporation, and HOK for sticking around for meaningful conversations. It’s always great when the drinks flow, but even better when the connections do too! Today: I attended MetroWire Media's forum on industrial development in our region. Dan Merlo of Intelica moderated a strong panel featuring experts like Ben Haas (EQT Exeter), Christy Wirth, SIOR, CCIM (Cushman & Wakefield), Stephen Davis, MBA (St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) ), Matt Sander (ARCO Murray Construction Company), and Matthew Hrubes (CBRE). The discussion touched on a slowdown in large industrial developments nationally, yet St. Louis continues to perform well. One key takeaway was the growing preference for larger industrial spaces and how tax incentives play a crucial role in attracting these projects. Mathew Hrubes emphasized the importance of cities providing the right incentives to secure quality developments. I couldn’t agree more with the need for public-private partnerships and, personally, I believe nonprofits have a role in ensuring these developments benefit local communities. Both events were insightful, well-attended, and added great value to our region’s growth. Thanks to Lisa J. Newberg, CPSM and all the organizers for always creating such welcoming atmosphere!
