⛳️Our team had an amazing time at the Angels of America's Fallen Golf Tournament at Perry Park Country Club! It was a day filled with competition, beautiful weather, and a shared mission to support the children of our nation’s fallen heroes. Funds raised from the event will help provide mentored, developmental activities to these children, fostering mental resilience and offering them healthy opportunities. We're honored to contribute to such an impactful cause!

✨Work has begun on the USPS Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Colorado Springs!✨ Our Facility Services group is currently renovating a previously unused concrete building to perform maintenance on USPS vehicles. The building will be equipped with car lifts, oil tanks, wash areas, and other necessary equipment for mechanics. Additionally, office space, an employee breakroom, a new elevator shaft, new HVAC and ventilation systems, security systems, utilities, and interior finishes will be added. This space will enable USPS to serve our city more efficiently and effectively! Our team has enjoyed the opportunity to work with a new client alongside a new partner in BRW Architects, Inc. Stay tuned for more updates as this project continues!

✨Another completed project! ✨ We are proud to share the recent remodel and build-out of the SMACNA Training Facility, completed by our Colorado Springs Facility Services team! We extended the interior foundation of the building, allowing for new training areas for welding booths, sheet metal work, light and heavy fabrication, and service instruction. We also remodeled the space to add classrooms, offices, a breakroom with a kitchen, tool areas, and a high-bay training area. The large metal tetrahedron structure in the training area was given to SMACNA by the Air Force Academy. This nearly 30' training tower is an exact replica of a section of spire at the Cadet Chapel on the USAFA campus. These upgrades will empower Colorado Sheet Metal Workers' Apprenticeship Program students to hone their skills with cutting-edge equipment and learning tools. This "Earn While You Learn" program is shaping the industry's future and preparing the next generation of skilled sheet metal workers for the workforce. The training and learning materials are provided by the International Training Institute (ITI), an organization that supports apprenticeship and advanced career training for union sheet metal workers. The ITI is jointly sponsored by SMACNA and the International Association of Sheet Metal Air Rail & Transportation Workers (SMART), a union with over 230,000 members across North America. SMACNA and SMART have partnered for over 75 years to deliver quality sheet metal applications and HVAC systems using skilled, trained craft workers.

The facility will also be available for other schools to rent, providing even more chances for students to learn real-world skills. With upgraded equipment and more usable space, students can now explore Family Consumer Science, Vocational Agriculture, woodworking, welding, and much more, creating bright futures filled with career and employment opportunities!

Earlier this week, we came together to celebrate The Hunter Topping Out Ceremony! This event not only marks the completion of a significant phase of construction but also an exciting milestone in the life of this project. As a unique token, we all signed a Colorado flag that will hang in the lobby of the completed luxury apartment building. Jerseys were handed out as a sign of gratitude to the All-Star team members for their incredible work on this project. Bryan and FORMATIV emphasized the profound impact of this building on the economic growth of the Colorado Springs downtown area and the transformation it will bring to the former warehouse district. This significant contribution makes us all proud to be part of this community. Congratulations to FORMATIV CO and Davis Partnership Architects for being fantastic partners throughout construction. FORMATIV persevered through many obstacles, including COVID, to make this project possible. They honor the legacy of Tuskegee airmen Samuel C. Hunter, Jr., with the naming of The Hunter. Davis Partnership designed a beautiful structure that will upgrade the landscape of downtown Colorado Springs. We look forward to finishing another successful project with you! Griffis/Blessing, Inc. Come behind the scenes with us at the new Surgery Outpatient Center at Swedish Medical Center! As a team, we play a crucial role in creating secure areas that prevent dust, debris, and the spread of contaminants from entering the hospital's operational side. We control airflow to prevent contaminants from entering the areas occupied by healthcare professionals and patients. Bryan Construction works with the hospital to prevent exposure to patients and keep the hospital operating while we're completing construction projects. Renovating and modernizing healthcare spaces is necessary to prioritize the best patient care possible. We are experts at ensuring our construction does not interrupt patient care. It keeps the hospital operational for the health and safety of all. In the photos, look at some of the measures in place at Swedish Medical Center.

Last week, the Colorado Springs Fire Department conducted tower crane fire and rescue safety training at our job site. The CSFD team received this training on the tower crane at The Hunter. Ropes for belaying are connected below the crane and run more than seven stories up to the cab. The firefighters will then be able to assist the crane operator safely to the ground. Thank you to the Colorado Springs Fire Department for keeping our workers and community safe!

Help us welcome our new Facility Services Manager, Ryan Emery! 📣 I am excited to join Bryan Construction as the Facility Services Manager for our Fort Collins Group. I have extensive experience working as a general contractor in locations across Colorado, but most recently, I worked as a project manager in Northern Colorado. Over the course of my career, I have worked on a wide variety of projects, including hospitality, multi-family, tenant finishes, and remodels. I have been in Colorado since 04’ and like to spend most of my free time adventuring with my son! We like to ride ATVs and horses and have recently been spending our weekends boating and fishing at Horsetooth.
