BCI’s Alinne Oliveira (she/her) recently traveled to India to engage in important discussions around pesticide maximum residue levels (MRLs). As a growing market for U.S. agricultural exports, India represents a critical partner in ensuring the continued success of our global food supply chain. During the visit, BCI highlighted the importance of aligning MRL standards to ensure the safe and efficient exchange of agricultural goods. These discussions underscore the growing significance of India as a key player in global trade, particularly for U.S. agricultural products. By fostering stronger relationships and clearer regulatory frameworks, we're ensuring that U.S. agricultural products continue to meet international safety standards and expand into new markets. 🌍🍻 London Craft Beer Festival 2024 🍻🌍 Our very own Thomas MacFadyen recently returned from an exciting trip to London, where he had the privilege of supporting the Brewers Association, in showcasing the incredible versatility of U.S. craft beer at the renowned London Craft Beer Festival. With over 18,000 attendees, this festival is London’s premier event for craft beer enthusiasts and trade professionals alike. This year, the Brewers Association made a significant impact with an expanded booth featuring around 60 diverse U.S. craft beers. But that’s not all! Thomas also played a key role in organizing a special craft beer and food pairing media lunch. Themed around fermentation, the event highlighted the creative use of fermented foods paired with U.S. craft beers. From tangy fermented chili sauces and pickled daikon to the unique amazake ice cream made from Japanese fermented rice beverage—every dish underscored the rich and diverse flavors that fermentation brings to the table. #LondonCraftBeerFestival #USCraftBeer #BrewersAssociation
