The sensors within the array can work independently or as a group, through a private, encrypted Internet portal for an automated plant risk management system. BSI recently introduced and patented the OWL UT CP TEST STATION which monitors the effectiveness of cathodic protection and measures external corrosion rates of the structure under the impressed or sacrificial current system utilizing Ultrasound and a Corrosion Coupon.
