Honoring International Women’s Day goes beyond clichéd online salutes. It’s about action, the culture we cultivate, and the opportunities we provide through education, resources, and meaningful conversations.   To inspire further dialogue, we had the honor of hosting Jann Joseph, PhD, esteemed president of Georgia Gwinnett College (#GGC), who discussed "Building Resilience and Empowering Women." In her conversation with Katherine Kyle, Dr. Joseph brought her journey to life by sharing powerful insights on perseverance and leadership.   Her message resonated deeply with our team. Employee Spotlight: Darius Fudge No person is one thing only. Nobody is one skill set, one job, one label, or one phase of life. In no case is this truer than with our very own Darius Fudge, who professionally reinvented himself to become a skilled insurance industry professional. Darius attended Western Carolina University on a full-tuition football scholarship, where he honed his focus and discipline. After college, Darius attended NFL training camp with the Oakland Raiders, but an injury sidelined that dream. Never one to stay down, spreadsheets became his new gridiron. A former teammate connected Darius with the founder of a CPA firm in Dallas, who offered him an internship that would shift his identity from athlete to corporate pro. At Builders, we take a holistic view of each employee and what they’re capable of.
