The kids are “adulting” at Builders! 👔💼🏭 Last week, parents brought their kids to Take Your Kid To Work Day at Builders. They attended intense strategy sessions complete with mermaids and crayons on the itinerary (courtesy of Katherine Kyle, Lexi Kearley, Todd Campbell, Shannon Moseley, and Marissa Navarro). They scribbled their fresh ideas onto our whiteboards, shared story time with our CFO Matthew Burnett where they learned about the glamorous and jet-set world of insurance 😴, and they taught us all the value of coloring outside the lines. Plus pizza. Tiny humans love the pizza. 🍕 At Builders, employees, family, and community matter. 🏫☀⛹🏽♿ The Gift of Play has come to Cooper! Last week, dozens of volunteers assembled under the hot June sun to move mountains for the children of Cooper Elementary in Loganville, Georgia. Those “mountains” were, in fact, three truckloads of mulch that required spreading to bed the play area with 10 inches of romp-ready cushion for the newly constructed adaptive playground. Builders, school faculty, and community members gave their all in a long day of labor and love sponsored by the generous donations of so many. The biggest Builders charity event of the year couldn’t have been more monumental: over $290,000 raised, 230 cubic yards of mulch moved, and countless children delighted for years to come. Thank you to everyone who participated in The Gift of Play. We are humble proof of what can be achieved when a community unites to leave an enduring legacy for the next generation.
