We would like to congratulate Mike Manning, Account Director, who has been recognized for his exemplification of EMCOR's values with the Tradesman award. He was nominated for the award because of his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, and for his performance over the last four months during the stand-up and integration of a new healthcare customer account. Mike has served both the BTE and EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) teams for over 25 years. Throughout his tenure he's provided senior operational level leadership, and for the past several months he has also served as the day-to-day Facility Manager. During this time he has been responsible for completing/coordinating all scheduled and on-demand work, on-boarding service providers, and overseeing all daily, weekly, and monthly governance processes, all with a great attitude. The Tradesman Award recognizes associates for outstanding performance at customer sites or within their specific area of work and each is recognized personally by our President. We'd like to congratulate Joe O’Neill (left) and Joe Medeiros (right) who were honored with two very prestigious recognitions at the JLL Engineering Awards on December 14th. O'Neill was recognized with the Engineer of the Year Award for the work he has done on two properties in Cambridge. He leads a team of engineers that oversee approximately 400,000 square feet of combined office and retail space. He regularly puts in extra hours to ensure things move forward effectively and is constantly looking for ways to improve building performance, appearance, and sustainability. With recent transitions, he has also taken on a larger role regarding operations. His dedication is exactly what you would expect from an engineer of the year winner! Medeiros was recognized with a Safety Excellence Award. He has worked on a portfolio of 31 buildings for over 30 years. His team of 18 engineers rely on him as the go-to person for historical knowledge when it comes to environmental testing reports and day-to-day hazard management. Safety is a top priority for Joe during repair activities and construction work, and he is always willing to teach our GM and AGM about potential hazards as they plan construction for their buildings.
