InnovaTech® and BZI® are thrilled to unveil the Beam Champ® 30 at the FABTECH Expo, from October 15-17, 2024 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Designed with operator safety and productivity in mind, the Beam Champ 30 is transforming beam welding. Featuring a larger opening for easy beam placement and removal, a Vertical Jaw Arm for smooth operation, and a Support Arm to hold the beam during welding or configuration securely. Welding teams report a 20% increase in productivity thanks to its ability to rotate beams safely and efficiently, allowing access to all sides without risk. It has been a great week at the #OneUtahSummit in Cedar City! A few highlights: BZI was honored with the prestigious "Rural Rockstar Award" for our significant contributions to rural development across southern Utah. BZI Innovation Park Project Executive Drake Howell had the privilege of presenting on the socioeconomic impact of our rural initiatives relating to the in-progress BZI Innovation Park.  We had an incredible time hosting Summit attendees for a special dinner and the opportunity to share the future of construction with VR simulation at the Nautilus One building in BZI Innovation Park. A huge thank you to local leaders, and everyone who joined us in celebrating the continued progress of our 820-acre sustainable industrial park. We’re proud to see how our efforts are positively shaping Iron County and beyond. How do you think the use of virtual reality in construction will reshape the industry in the next 5-10 years? We’ve partnered with Resolve BIM to provide an accessible approach to VR with untethered remote viewing of 2-D projects in a 3-D format, helping clients and trade partners visualize projects like never before while improving efficiency, safety, and collaboration. Additionally, our nationally recognized and exclusive training center, SteelTech Academy will soon be integrating VR-simulation training into safety, quality control, and skills instruction. This will allow for real-time problem-solving opportunities, practice handling hazardous situations in a risk-free environment, and general efficiency in learning through immersion and interaction. Accessibility and ease-of-use allow many of the company’s divisions, customers and partners to use the technology and experience the benefits together. “With wireless abilities, I can have team members, trade partners, and customers throughout our national work sites and offices walking through a virtual view of a project simultaneously,” says Wilford Jessop, Chief Information Technology Officer at BZI.
