Never overlook these things 👇 Comment "avoid" and we'll send you our guide! Avoid these 5 common mistakes that could ruin your board: 1️⃣ Improper Trace Width and Spacing: Use the right width for your current needs and keep high-speed signals happy. Pro tip: Ask Flux Copilot to calculate the perfect trace width for you. 2️⃣ Overlooking Via Sizes: Choose wisely based on your design needs and manufacturer capabilities. Not all vias are created equal – microvias are great for compact designs but need careful placement. 3️⃣ Ignoring Power and Ground Plane:Keep those planes solid and avoid creating islands. Separate analog and digital sections to keep the noise down. 4️⃣ Neglecting Design for Manufacturability: Always check your manufacturer's capabilities and leave enough clearance at the board edges. Flux's preconfigured templates are your best friend here. 5️⃣ Improper Decoupling Capacitor Placement: Place your decoupling capacitors as near to the IC pins as possible. Every millimeter counts in noise suppression. Bonus Tip: Before you hit that "manufacture" button, take a step back and review your design thoroughly. Better safe than sorry!
