Some of us went chasing the Aurora the night of October 10 with mixed success, but a friend captured these amazing pictures of the Northern Lights at St. Patrick’s and was willing to share. We’re so proud to have installed the new metal roofing for First Companies, Inc. on this project. We’re big fans of the Ottawa Beach General Store!
When the 90-year-old Ottawa Beach General Store reached the point where it could no longer be salvaged, they hired First Companies to demolish the existing building and construct a new one. The beloved structure had been enjoyed for generations, so the primary goal was to preserve the nostalgic appearance, layout, and flow so customers would feel like they walked into a new version of the old store.

We installed the standing seam barrel roof on Kentwood Fire Station No. 1 when it was built in 1992. Just before the snow started flying, we finished fabrication and installation of new standing seam metal roofing on an addition to the Fire Station. The new roof is backed by a 15-Year Weathertight Warranty from Drexel Metals and S-5! ColorGard snowguards to help hold the snow on the roof, allowing it to melt at a natural pace. #buistsheetmetal #architecturalsheetmetal #metalroofing #snowguards
