Lane County Commissioners have approved moving forward with the CleanLane Resource Recovery Facility, also known as IMERF. 🌱 This facility will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by extracting plastics and metals from the waste stream and diverting food waste to an Anaerobic Digestion system, which will produce Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) for transportation fuel.
