Burgess Civil is finishing up the remodel on their new office in Tampa. I sent a text to Ben Burgess, P.E. when I landed last night and we lined up a visit to come by and check out the new digs. This is what I saw when I pulled up. Yep, that's a Komatsu dozer painted in Burgess Blue that's found it's final resting place at the entrance of the new office. It's not quite done yet. They'll have lettering on the dozer blade soon. I'm constantly impressed with companies in this industry and how, it seems like more and more, they're prioritizing people and culture. With Burgess in specific, there's the in-house classroom that seats 80, the simulator and training room, the gym for getting yoked on lunch break, and a few extra very nifty in-office perks that I will leave for them to discuss if they choose 😁 These guys are positioned to make a dent in the industry and have a good time doing it. Thanks to Mat McKay for staying late to give me a tour. I'm stoked to see where you guys go next.
