Fast follow to yesterday's big announcement... we can FINALLY introduce Kerry Collins Smith as our newest Regional Director joining BMV to help support the communities. Kerry is intimately familiar with the 5 Midwest properties that were just added as their prior leader with Wickshire. Kerry worked with the Poland facility as the Executive Director for 17 years, prior to its acquisition from Sunrise, and was elevated to a regional role overseeing 9 buildings in 4 states due to her unwavering commitment to her team. We kept our fingers crossed for months that we'd be able to bring Kerry along with us and couldn't be more thankful for her leadership and support through this transition. After a grueling 6 months, we finally put pen to paper and can welcome FIVE new communities to our Burgess-Miller Ventures portfolio. These new buildings offer a fantastic mix of services, including Medicaid and memory care that allow our residents to age in place with dignity as their needs change. Along with these buildings, we're fortunate to be adding 283 team members, some having as much as 27 years experience in their respective facilities. - Poland Village Assisted Living - Fairborn Assisted Living - Deer Park Assisted Living - Fort Harrison Assisted Living - West Lafayette Assisted Living And as we come together for the holiday weekend, we're thankful for the family, friends, partners, and team members that worked tirelessly to prepare for and close our largest transaction to date.
