Throwback Thursday! The Granville - Burling Builders served as the general contractor for the construction of a high-rise, market-rate, multi-family project. The condo building boasts a modern, open-concept design, featuring luxurious, spacious kitchens and bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, in-unit laundry facilities, and large primary suites with walk-in closets. The interior is adorned with granite countertops, hardwood floors, and touches of marble, while the building also includes a green roof. The project encompassed the construction of 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and an enclosed parking structure. The Ribbon is cut and guests are checking in! 🎉 The Burling team is excited to share the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Illinois Medical District, Hampton Inn construction project. Yesterday, we celebrated the completion of this incredible project that will provide much-needed accommodation for visitors to the medical district. The ceremony featured remarks from key stakeholders, a tour of the newly completed hotel, and followed with a networking reception. A huge thank you to our partners at East Lake, Piekarz Associates P.C., and all of the subcontractors that helped to bring this project to completion. Burling was thrilled to have had the opportunity to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new fully inclusive disabled accessible recreation park, Phil Fuentes Ability Park, in the town of Cicero. The Burling team is honored to be a part of bringing this much-needed resource to to the Cicero community. The event was attended by representatives from the US Department of Housing, as well as county, state, and town leaders, all of whom are dedicated to making the Cicero community more inclusive and accessible for people of all abilities. The Burling team is thrilled to announce that we have been given the NTP on the Earle Apartments adaptive reuse project, which will result in the creation of 50 units of affordable housing. We are proud to be involved in this important initiative in West Englewood.

Burling has been selected as the General Contractor for The Town of Cicero Inclusive Playground & Park Project. We are proud to be working with the Town of Cicero and along side FGM Architects & TERRA Engineering, Ltd. to complete project. The project consist of the construction of a new park facility, including an inclusive playground driveways, parking lot, landscaping, lighting, fencing, walkway, and sidewalks. Burling is proud to be part of the initiative to build more inclusive playgrounds and we applaud the Town of Cicero for their efforts to provide an open and safe space designed to promote play among children of differing abilities, ages, and communities. It gives children with and without any disability the same platform to play while breaking down barriers, both physically and socially.

Burling had an amazing time attending the IHC Golf Outing! The event was a great time had by all, with plenty of laughs and friendly competition on the course.
