As Chicago returns to normal after a busy few weeks, Burnham is celebrating a big Got It Done at the Auditorium Theatre to announce The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was broadcasting from their building!! They needed several permits to get the scaffolding up that the projectors were mounted on, including ones from the Department of Buildings, Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), and the Chicago Park District. After initially reaching out directly to the city, the Auditorium Theatre turned to us for help. We secured the Express Scaffold Permit #B200024852, applied for the Electrical Permit, updated contractor accounts, and locked in the CDOT permit #DOT1984129. Despite moratorium challenges on Michigan Ave due to both Lollapalooza and the DNC, we got special approval to move forward.
