DC x LA: Where we work hard and play hard! The Burns Brothers hosted the second edition of the much-anticipated LA Party during the Congressional Black Caucus ALC week! The LA Party honored the incomparable Assemblywoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove (CA-37) and featured a fashion show of designs by up-and-coming Black designers. Guests also enjoyed featured performances by Wale and many other talented DJs. Shout out to HQ DC House members who came through!

Our country is diverse, and that is our strength, not our downfall, as some would have us believe. Some of the nation’s leading policymakers and civil rights leaders came through to help us focus on ways to strengthen democracy and uplift our communities, words truly needed in these unprecedented times, including Rev. Our Founders, Michael Burns and John Burns grew up in Texas, and not only watched Juneteenth evolve into the widely-celebrated Federal holiday it is today, but got to produce a massive concert honoring the occasion not once, but twice, at The White House.
