This week, we are proud to announce that our Empowerment Award is being presented to not just one, but four exceptional subcontractors at our Coryell County Annex site. We want to recognize the outstanding contributions of crew members Lee Carnes from Sustainable Security Solutions, Jonathan Gonzalez from Performance Drywall, Ethan Eastex from Capstone, and Damien Cook from Kilgore. These individuals have truly exemplified outstanding teamwork, exceeding expectations in terms of safety, quality, and production, in that order, while working together towards a common goal. We made it a point to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work of these exceptional team members, along with their respective companies, during our morning meetings at the site. It's important to us that their dedication and efforts do not go unnoticed. We are grateful for their exceptional contributions and look forward to continuing this positive and collaborative working relationship.

We are thrilled to announce that Butler-Cohen is serving as the Construction Manager-At-Risk for the Ward County Law Enforcement Center project in Monahans, TX. This project includes the construction of a new 65,000-square-foot County Jail, Sheriff’s Office, and Animal Shelter complex. The design, created by BURNS ARCHITECTURE, L.L.C., has been completed, and our team broke ground in the first quarter of 2024. We anticipate the project to be completed by mid-2025. The building will feature a combination of CMU and Pre-Engineered Metal Building structural systems.

We are on the verge of reaching the topping-out milestone for this impressive new 2-story classroom wing designed by PBK to double as a storm shelter for Trinity Basin Preparatory Public Schools. This state-of-the-art wing is being meticulously constructed using the advanced Insulated Concrete Forms structural system, which offers exceptional strength and insulation properties. The culmination of this significant achievement is just weeks away, and we are eagerly anticipating the upcoming celebration of this major milestone!

We are thrilled to share that our second annual Field Operations Retreat in the stunning coastal town of Matagorda, TX was a resounding success! Against the backdrop of the picturesque Coastal Plains Lodge, we enjoyed delectable meals, refreshing drinks, and exhilarating bay fishing activities. Our time together was made even more special with an inspiring presentation that celebrated our collective accomplishments and recognized the outstanding achievements of our team members with well-deserved awards. It was truly an unforgettable experience that strengthened our bonds and reinvigorated our passion for our work!

Participating in OSHA Safety Training Institute's Safe and Sound week has been a fantastic experience for us and something we genuinely look forward to. Our dedication to ensuring safety on our job sites is unwavering, and this year, we took it a step further by involving our home office as well. We understand that even desk-based activities can pose risks, so we conducted a thorough #HazardHunt and identified a few areas that needed improvement, such as trip hazards and potential office safety concerns. It's incredibly important to us that safety remains a top priority in everything we do, and we're grateful to all our participants for their commitment to this cause. #SafeandSoundatWork

We were thrilled to support Sharing Hands A Respite Experience (SHARE) as they hosted the 2024 annual Shooters that Share Clay Shoot fundraiser. This event is dedicated to the nonprofit that serves West Texas and Permian Basin families raising children with special needs. We are deeply committed to our projects and the communities that surround and support them!

Our team's well-being is our absolute top priority! We recently had an amazing time at our first annual Project Manager retreat at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. From golfing to sharing hearty laughter, we had the chance to connect with each other on a deeper level outside of our work. It's truly inspiring to witness our incredible team collaborating and generating innovative ideas, leading to the success of our projects.
