A program of Baldwin Wallace University's Technology Partnerships Initiative

About us

Baldwin Wallace University’s Technology Partnerships Initiative (TPI) is home to the Northeast Ohio Flight Information Exchange (NEOFIX), a program for local government and public safety agencies to post information for each other and drone operators which keep the airspace open, secure, and safe. NEOFIX uses proven technology successfully being utilized in the Commonwealth of Virginia to inform drone operators of ground rules and conditions, local issues and events, public safety incidents, hazards, and sensitive and critical infrastructure. TPI creates the conditions for technology and related businesses development to benefit educational and career opportunities in the region and Cuyahoga County communities adjacent and nearby to NASA Glenn Research Center and Cleveland Hopkins Airport. TPI brings together attentive partners eager to participate in economic development initiatives in areas including drone industry; aircraft and aeronautics; technology transfer; cyber security and big data; clean energy; community accessible wi-fi; transportation, cargo, and trade business; health care; and trades education and training.
