  • Last week, the BYUI Real Estate Investment and Development Society had the wonderful opportunity to visit Boise and join BOMA Idaho in their monthly Top Golf event and luncheon. We also had the incredible chance to tour Fidelity National Title Idaho where we met some Incredible people! At the luncheon we had the privilege of briefly introducing our society and speaking about its purpose and vision within Commercial Real Estate. It was an incredible experience to network with such esteemed companies and professionals in the industry. We are deeply grateful for the warm welcome and the invaluable connections made. Thank you BOMA Idaho, for hosting us and for such a memorable event. As well as a big thank you to Jana Knoll for connecting us and advocating for us!

Let’s connect! Assistant PM (In Training) with Dashiel. Excited about building skills and relationships.

3 dudes and myself spearheaded the creation of powerful community. Check it out! Zeke Archibald, Thayer Loose, Dallen Bush and I identified an opportunity to enhance the value for students at the BYUI campus last semester. Recognizing the absence of a society dedicated to careers in real estate development amidst numerous outstanding societies, we founded BYUI Real Estate Investment and Development Society to bridge the gap between majors such as finance, construction management, business management, and accounting, thus creating a unified platform for community and growth for careers within the sphere of development. The BYUI Real Estate Investment and Development Society is still in its early stages but has made tramendous growth over the past semester. With a regular attendance of approximately 20 people and industry professionals speaking weekly to the group. I’m thrilled and proud of the work and growth we’ve had, so I thought I’d share the three biggest things this experience taught me. 1. Network or Die - In today's interconnected world, your network is your greatest asset, opening doors to opportunities and collaborations beyond your imagination. Cultivate it wisely, it holds the key to professional success and personal growth. 2. Integrity is Key - Integrity is the cornerstone of trust, guiding every decision and action towards building strong relationships and fostering credibility in both personal and professional endeavors. 3. Be bold and Swing for the fence - If you don’t at least give it a shot, you’ll never know. Big thanks to Natalie Macbeth, Bryson Gibson, Taven Chamberlain, and Mark Williams for helping keep the ball rolling and thank you to all are industry professionals for speaking Skyler Blankenfeld, MRED, Allen Clemons, Parker Stevens and John Combs.
