Pharmacists are the unsung heroes of healthcare, working tirelessly to diagnose, treat, and manage devastating Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). By addressing climate change's impact on health, they build resilient communities, shielding the most vulnerable. As frontline healthcare professionals, pharmacists provide accessible services, bridge gaps in underserved areas, and advocate for policy changes to combat climate change. Through medication management and adherence counseling, they enhance NTD treatment outcomes. Collaborative efforts with healthcare professionals strengthen prevention and control. Let's celebrate pharmacists' dedication to global health! Together, we CAN end NTDs and mitigate the climate crisis. Join the movement, recognize pharmacists' vital role, and unite to create a healthier, more sustainable world. #together we can #WorldPharmacistsDay #PharmacistsForHealth #NTDs #ResilientCommunities #HealthHeroes #PharmacistsMakeADifference

Today, on 9th August, World Indigenous Day, we stand in solidarity with indigenous communities worldwide. Climate change and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) disproportionately affect indigenous peoples, threatening their health, culture, and livelihoods. Rising temperatures and changing weather patterns disrupt their way of life, while limited access to healthcare and sanitation increases their vulnerability to NTDs. Let's amplify indigenous voices and support their fight against climate change and NTDs. Together we CAN #WorldIndigenousDay #IndigenousRights #ClimateAction #NTDs #CAN15"
