About us

Caf2Code is a Microsoft Solution Partner software development company and B2B consultancy specializing in the enterprise finance and accounting market. Founded in 2017, Caf2Code has rapidly established itself as a key player in the Dynamics 365 services industry. With a team of 14 full-time employees spanning seven states, in addition to several contractors, Caf2Code has consistently demonstrated its commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. The inspiration behind Caf2Code's name is based on the old joke about programmers - that if you input coffee, they output code. In March 2020, during the height of the pandemic panic, Caf2Code boldly shifted its business model, making significant investments to expand its operations, serve more clients, and create high-quality job opportunities. Having become a Microsoft Partner in January 2021 and achieving Microsoft Gold Partner status in April 2021, Caf2Code has consistently demonstrated its dedication to excellence and expertise in leveraging Microsoft technologies. These achievements culminated in an invitation from Microsoft to join the esteemed Emerging Partner Cohort for Business Applications in February 2023. Supporting all versions from AX 2009 to D365FO 10.0.18+, we specialize in delivering support, customizations, integrations, and migrations on time and under budget. Simply put, we get the job done right. Contact us today for more information. We love to help!

A boutique partner is NOT just another vendor. It's your business’s best ally. Most large consulting firms have the personalization of a vending machine. Because true solutions require understanding. They require a human approach to solving your specific challenges. You need to know: What your business needs Why those needs are unique AND how a tailored solution can create real value ONLY then can you build something meaningful and effective—not just another cookie-cutter implementation. Most big firms never stop to think about this. They think scale, templates, and flashy dashboards will save the day. They won’t. Sooner or later, you’ll realize: A boutique partner isn’t just a consultant. It’s a collaborator who actually gets your business. P.S. Yes, we still deliver on time and within budget 😊 P.P.S. 7 reasons to say "no" in ERP implementations: (and how it builds trust) The best leaders understand the importance and impact of a thoughtful “no”. While flexibility is important, saying “yes” to everything risks credibility. 1. Scope Creep: ❌ "We should add everything they ask for to keep them happy.” ✅ Protect the agreed scope. A strategic "no" preserves timeline and budget. 2. Unrealistic Timelines: ❌ "Let’s promise a quick delivery to impress." ✅ Be honest about time requirements to keep your integrity intact. 3. Unproven Integrations: ❌ "Let’s try out every tool that comes along." ✅ Choose tested integrations that align with project goals. 4. Shifting Requirements: ❌ "Let’s change course every time we get new ideas or input." ✅ Limit scope changes to essentials. Consistency ensures quality. 5. Stretching Your Team Too Thin: ❌ "They can handle 100 hours per week to meet expectations." ✅ Set sustainable expectations and protect your teams from overload. 6. Endless Customizations: ❌ "Let's add just three more customizations” ✅ Prioritize essential customizations. Keeping core functions clean and streamlined enhances scalability and future upgrades. 7. Going Live Before Testing: ❌ "We need to meet the go-live date, testing can wait." ✅ Prioritize quality over speed. Thorough testing ensures a smoother rollout. Each "no" in ERP implementation isn't about limitation—it’s about focus, integrity, and delivering on commitments. How do you determine when to say "no"? The best investment you can make? Cleaning up your data. (This sounds mundane, but it's true) Your organization’s growth depends on it. Consider this: You want to get in on the AI movement. You’re ready to double down on data. Sounds smart, right? Absolutely. But if your data is messy—full of duplicates, gaps, or outdated information—all of your efforts will be wasted. Bad data = bad results. In AI. In Reports. In Everything. That’s why it’s so important to start with clean data. It may not be as exciting as the latest AI, But focusing on this “mundane” task of cleaning your data, is what unlocks those advanced tools. The most critical investments aren’t always flashy. They’re the foundational decisions that force you to bet on the basics. First the data. Bet on it.
