A personal message from our founder and Chief Inspiration Officer Yann Bucaille-Lanrezac. In 2017, Yann and his wife Lydwine created a vision for a better world, where neurodiverse individuals thrive under ordinary conditions. Through our 24 cafes in France, Portugal, Belgium and the United States, we demonstrate that an inclusive model is not only possible but beneficial to all. Our mission is bigger than our cafes: through our cafes, our line of specialty coffee, our services to corporates, we want to inspire everyone to take the baton and act. Leading organizations like Klick Boston Properties (BXP) JCDecaux Crédit Agricole CIB Moët Hennessy National Football League (NFL) Restaurant Associates Blackstone Newmark Tikehau Capital Astorg CIFC Asset Management and more have seized the opportunity to act for a better world by using Café Joyeux innovative model to leverage their DEI efforts and further promote inclusion in the workplace. During the paralympics in Paris People with disabilities showed that they have an essential role to play in our world as excellent sportsmen… Guess what ? They have a role to play in our world in general. And in the economy in particular ! Watch this great film 🎥 which illustrates that. https://lnkd.in/eiRWuKfe https://lnkd.in/eD2N8jfH Ce film primé à Cannes est inspiré d’un équipier de café joyeux , et montre le combat de toute une communauté de personnes différentes pour être admises dans la société, dans la vie ordinaire comme en entreprise. « 47 » is a 7 minutes stop-motion film 🎥 that has required hours of hand made art crafting work, with and by people with Down Syndrome. It is inspired by the story of one of our crew members at Café Joyeux 47 years who has never been accepted because of his ‘disability’. Isn’t the world disabled ? I have no word grateful enough to thank Ryan Olohan , Klick , ZOMBIE STUDIO CANJA Audio Culture Amy Fortunato Rich Levy Andrea B. After France, where they have their very own Café Joyeux on premises, Crédit Agricole CIB shows one more time its genuine commitment to inclusion by bringing Café Joyeux to its US employees, who will soon enjoy our specialty coffee every day in the office💛 #inclusion #disabilities #nonprofit
[#CSR] 🙌 Committed to fostering #inclusion, our New York office recently entered into a partnership with Café Joyeux, who will now provide the office with coffee beans. Café Joyeux is a non-profit organisation that started in France in 2017, dedicated to employing and training people with mental and cognitive disabilities. Last week, on the occasion of Bénédicte Chrétien, Head of Human Resources for Crédit Agricole S.A.’s visit to the Americas, members of the management committee met with her and Stephane Ducroizet, Senior Regional Officer for the Americas at Café Joyeux in New York. Opened earlier this year, this café is the first in the US. During her visit, Bénédicte Chrétien held an all staff meeting to talk about the Human-centric Project, a key dimension of Groupe Crédit Agricole’s strategic plan. She also had the opportunity to engage with employees, through group and individual conversations, and to talk about their experiences at the Bank and their career ambitions. Several new initiatives were discussed, such as #diversity and inclusion, allyship, and trainings to better understand our professional goals and how to achieve them.
