Salam Alaykum, as Election Day approaches, CAIR-Philadelphia is dedicated to continuing its civil rights, advocacy, and Muslim empowerment work regardless of the outcome. Under any scenario, we will make sure to protect and empower our community. We are proud to have led nonpartisan outreach to our communities to ensure maximum Muslim American participation in the electoral process. Our Vote for Justice campaign worked with over 85 young American Muslims, to reach out to our communities. With our teams still knocking doors and sending texts, so far, our CAIR-Philadelphia team knocked on 29,173 doors, called 80,993 voters, and texted 24,443 Muslims across Pennsylvania. A general election is an opportunity to: - Cast your vote for those who align best with your values. - Take part in choosing who will be your voice in our democracy.

As-salaamu alaikum, As the Legal Director of CAIR-Philadelphia, I want to take a moment to reflect on our collective journey and share some updates about the important work our legal team is doing on behalf of the Muslim community in the Philadelphia area. After working for the government and in the private sector as an attorney focused on education law, I first joined CAIR-Philadelphia as a board member and then became part of the staff team. This work is deeply personal and important for me as a Muslim American who went to law school to serve our communities. Bringing relief to college students being targeted by their colleges provides me with a sense of purpose that is unmatched — it is your support for CAIR-Philadelphia that makes our work possible.
