As a topic, I think about #pricing in our industry more than most things. To be completely honest, this is a fairly unsettling conversation for me because our market has changed and the needs of our clients have changed. Ultimately, it boils down to value for me. Are we pricing our product and the value we bring in a way that aligns with the expectations of our customers? What was once perceived as valuable, may no longer be. And we all know you can slice and dice pricing when it comes to software. Two things, among many, I'm currently wrestling through: 1. Transparency 2. Contract length And yes, I'm aware we don't offer pricing on our website and that has been by design. We offer a lot of products and we've observed that the needs of our clients can vary fairly drastically. But, is this the best way of going about it? I may be opening pandora's box or this may not garnish any interest at all, but I'm curious to see if you have any thoughts on the topic and how you think our industry could benefit from a pricing shift. My favorite subject. 🤓🤓🤓 Tracking is an evolving thing in our industry and it's not the same as it was one year ago, let alone 15 years ago when we first got started. For PUBLISHERS and NETWORKS out there working with an advertiser, here are the core questions you need to ask every time you're launching a new offer: 1. Do you support a Postback URL? (Server2Server tracking) 2. Do you support a Global Postback or does it need to be Offer/Campaign specific? 3. How should I pass my Click ID (CAKE's Request ID) on the redirect? There's a specific parameter your advertiser's platform will have reserved for this value. From there, make sure they pass this Click ID back on your system's parameter for collecting it. At CAKE, it's the r= parameter.
