🎉 Join us for our Annual Aspire Gala on March 22! 🎉 The event honors leaders from the fields of sports, entertainment, and business and continued the tradition of honoring those who are truly making a difference in the lives of others. This year, we will celebrate Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Palmer. All proceeds from the event will go directly to benefit the work of the Foundation and the 1.4 million children we impact each year. Transform Communities, Change Kids' Lives
About us
Launched in 2001, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation honors the life and memory of the Ripken family patriarch, long-time mentor and coach, Cal Ripken, Sr. Since 2001, we have created youth development programs and outdoor recreational spaces that have impacted over 11,000,000 at-risk youth with the help of over 40,000 youth mentors, coaches, teachers, and law enforcement volunteers. Our mission is to continue to help strengthen America’s most underserved and distressed communities by supporting and advocating for children, building Youth Development Parks, partnering with law enforcement and youth service agencies, and addressing community needs including STEM education through our national program initiatives. The Foundation provides opportunities for kids to play in safe environment, live healthy lifestyles, gain access to STEM education, and learn to make productive choices for their futures. We owe our success to our dedicated national Board of Directors, our corporate, foundation, individual, state, and federal sponsors, and our youth partners who help us to impact 1.4 million at-risk youth across the country each year.
