Welcome sedApta Group to the Elisa IndustrIQ family!

Today I have the honor to announce that Elisa has signed a deal to acquire sedApta Group, our long-term strategic partner. We expect the acquisition to be closed within couple of weeks and over 500 #sedApta team members from #Italy, #Germany, #France, the #UK and #Brazil to join us to become #Elisians and part of Elisa IndustrIQ. The acquisition of #sedApta is a significant step on our journey to establish #Elisa #IndustrIQ as a global #manufacturing #software powerhouse. Serving together well over 2000 industrial manufacturing customers all around the globe, sedApta joining Elisa IndustrIQ creates great opportunities for our team members, our customers and our company all alike: an expanded product portfolio, greater geographical coverage, improved local support, combined product development power and international growth opportunities. This merger enhances greatly our ability to deliver more comprehensive solutions and exceptional service to our diverse clientele. For example, a Warehouse Management System from Elisa IndustrIQ Finland has been added to the global solution portfolio of sedApta and first delivery is already ongoing. I want to extend my warmest welcome to #Elisa to all new #team members from sedApta Group and I believe that I am joined by all folks from our other member companies of Elisa’s International Digital Services: Elisa Polystar, camLine, Elisa IndustrIQ Finland, TenForce and CalcuQuote, as well as our Elisa #DES! I also want to thank CEO of sedApta Giorgio Cuttica and Chairman of sedApta Enzo Giori for your continued commitment to success of sedApta and to making it possible for this acquisition to happen! A couple of weeks ago, Hurricane Helene impacted many, including some of our customers and their families. While we didn't post immediately, our thoughts have been with those affected as they navigate recovery. As Hurricane Milton approaches, we extend our support to all in its path. Please stay safe, and know that our community stands with you during these difficult times.

We’re excited to announce that Dane Reynolds, VP of Operations at Astute Group will be joining us at Accelerate 2024 to share insights on Combatting Counterfeit Components. To register for Accelerate: https://lnkd.in/gps4A3EW The global semiconductor shortage has expanded the playing field for criminals, just as the world’s leader in counterfeit electronics databases, ERAI, reported an increase in the number of counterfeit components purchased by “desperate buyers”. For over a decade, Dane has made it his mission to help stamp out these counterfeits from the global electronics supply chain. Dane holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional, a Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. He regularly collaborates with electronics manufacturing professionals on the risks associated with counterfeit components, speaks at industry events (SMTA, ASQ, ARMA) and features in publications, mostly recently being quoted in the Wall Street Journal on the current risks faced during the semiconductor shortage. As Vice President of Operations at Astute Electronics, a leading global distributor of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) devices, Dane is accountable for the quality of all material that passes through Astute’s AS6081 certified and AS6171 accredited anti-counterfeit inspection laboratories before going on to be utilized in high-reliability applications within the aerospace, defense, medical, and other critical sectors that cannot be compromised by substandard or counterfeit product.
