CALIFORNIA GASOLINE PRICES...THE HIGHEST IN THE U.S.
Hello Everyone,
California's exceptionally high retail gasoline prices continue to plague consumers in the Golden State, and is especially harsh on lower income individuals, working families, and fixed income seniors.
To ascertain why, I completed a 50-year study of gasoline prices and policies in California. The short summary is that refiners, oil producers, and gasoline station owners are NOT responsible for the high prices. The high prices can be
traced directly to CA taxes, fees, and costs associated with its policies,
especially to CA's cap and trade and the LCFS, special blend.
Unfortunately, for Californians, retail gasoline prices will only go higher as refiners, such as Phillips, exit the state and more regulatory costs are layer and buredened on the consumer.

Thanks, everyone, and warmest wishes to all!
