We're excited to unveil our newest creation: a video series that gives you a daily dose of mindfulness in just 1 to 2 minutes. We call it Moment of Calm. 💙 We know some days it can be tough to prioritize your mental health. That’s exactly why we created this series. Moment of Calm is for those little pockets of your day when you’d love a bit of relaxation but only have a moment, like between meetings or before picking up your kids. Our goal was to make it easier than ever to relax, reset, and take a few deep breaths. You can find Moment of Calm alongside the Dailies at the top of your Calm homescreen, and expect a fresh session each day.

The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 2 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed this year. And although cancer affects so many, few realize that there's psychological support that can be offered specifically for people with cancer. Dr. Chris Mosunic, Calm's chief clinical officer, took part in the BBC's "Rewriting Cancer" series to discuss how Calm Health offers targeted mental health support for cancer patients. We talked with him about his experience working on the film and about Calm Health clinical programs for cancer and other chronic conditions. Read the blog here -> https://lnkd.in/gywF8f2C

While it’s not a clinical term, “Energy Vampire” describes people who leave you feeling emotionally drained and mentally exhausted. ✖️ Energy vampires, often unaware of their impact, come in various forms and can significantly drain your emotional and mental resources. ✖️ The Victim: Always seeking sympathy, this type feels wronged by life and shares their woes often, draining your energy with their negativity. ✖️ The Criticizer: Quick to point out flaws, they rarely offer positive feedback, undermining your confidence and leaving you feeling judged. ✖️ The Dramatizer: Thriving on attention, they exaggerate situations to stay in the spotlight, creating tension over time. ✖️ The Blamer: This type shifts responsibility for their problems onto others, fostering frustration and an unjust environment, especially for those they target. ✖️ The Manipulator: Skilled in emotional tactics like guilt and flattery, manipulators leave you questioning their true intentions and feeling drained. Whether you come across an energy vampire in your personal relationships, the workplace, or social settings, understanding and managing their influence is essential for preserving your mental and emotional health.
