Cameron Community Ministries

Cameron Community Ministries is an Urban Outreach Community Center in the Lyell-Otis Neighborhood of Rochester, NY. For 35 years, Cameron has been offering many programs including, a free hot meal program that serves lunch daily, an emergency food pantry, and a clothing house that serves community members in need of clothing and housewares. We also support families through a Youth After-School program, Teen Center, Kids Cafe nightly dinner and Summer programs. Cameron seeks to meet the needs of a neighborhood where a significant number of families live in poverty. 98% of the children enrolled at Cameron qualify for free/reduced school lunch. Daily, 40 children and their families participate in Cameron’s Youth Program, 100-150 individuals eat in the Soup Kitchen, 8 families access the Food Pantry and 12 families access the Clothing House.
