We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Milam's Markets! Recently, Chad Milam, Chief Administrative Officer of Milam’s Markets, presented a generous check to our Chairman, Albert Molina, and Chairman Emeritus, Bob Dickinson. This donation was the result of their successful Cash Register Campaign, which helps fund our mission of providing essential services to those in need of shelter in Miami-Dade County. Thanks to the community’s generosity, this year’s campaign surpassed last year’s results! #miami #southflorida #camilluscares #community #givingback #homelessness #makingadifference #nonprofit #doinggood #miaminonprofit #cashregistercampaign #donation #milamsmarkets

The dignity of having a roof over the head is transformative and restorative. To have her own place to live after 20 years is a dignified moment in the lives of our Day Center clients like Rosa. Thanks to the incredible belief of community partners like Humana Healthy Horizons, who support our Day Center programming, hundreds of clients like Rosa are empowered to proudly transition into employment, housing and most importantly, towards self-sufficiency because of the services and referrals offered through our onsite drop-in Day Center. Annually, for over 3,000 clients like Rosa, Camillus House's Day Center has been an indispensable first step towards fully regaining their humanity. #HumanaHealthyHorizons #ThankYou

Join us for an Estate Planning Seminar in partnership with Zoo Miami Foundation! 📅 Wednesday, October 23, 2024 🕛 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. 📍 Camillus House’s Bank of America Community Room | 1603 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33136 Life is full of uncertainties, but with a comprehensive estate plan, you can secure your family's future and provide peace of mind. An estate plan ensures your loved ones are cared for according to your wishes, helps navigate potential challenges they may face, and offers valuable tax advantages for your heirs. This seminar will cover essential topics such as creating a will, understanding probate, and the benefits of leaving a charitable legacy. Guests will receive complimentary lunch and parking, plus free consultations with estate planning professionals. RSVP by October 20 to secure your spot by emailing christinep@camillus.org! We recently had the honor of celebrating the graduation of 23 incredible Camillus House clients who have successfully completed our job training programs in culinary arts and hotel property management! Now, they are prepared to pursue job opportunities and build careers that will lead them toward independence and self-sufficiency. In partnership with local businesses and Miami Dade College, we continue to provide our graduates with employment opportunities and pathways to further education. Our Workforce Development Program was designed to create lasting change for our clients by empowering them with marketable skills and the support needed to succeed.
