Having at least one friend can be especially crucial to their mental health. Knowing that someone accepts them for who they are can profoundly impact their well-being. The feeling of being accepted by others can boost a child's self-esteem and confidence 🌈 . When children experience friendship, they recognize their own worth and value. Camp Attaway is often where a child makes his or her 1st friend. 👬 Under the guidance of specially-trained staff and through shared experiences, our campers learn the social and self-regulation skills needed to make and keep a friend👭.
