One of our best decisions over a long run!
The first TRUE Network Advisors agency… In 2015 I flew to Denver and pitched the idea for TRUE to twenty five or so benefit agencies. I told them if 20 said yes I would launch the company. (16 says yes and I said what the heck…let’s do it) At the cocktail reception later that evening (I failed to mention I infiltrated another companies event), Bruce Petrie from Campbell Petrie Inc. approached me with a wry smile and handed me a check for dues. He said he and Daniel J. Campbell talked before the trip and were going to say yes to whatever I was starting. I teared up then, and I do every single time I think of that moment. Having someone believe in you is powerful stuff. It’s been an incredible 8 years. My life has changed in ways I could never imagine. I had a chance to catch up with Bruce and some old colleagues in Az this weekend. He doesn’t look at social and will never see this post. If you see him make sure he knows I love him. I talk to Daniel J. Campbell almost every week so he knows I love him too… #truelove
