Cancer Alliance Network, Lee and Collier County

Formed in 2002, Cancer Alliance Network is devoted to helping local children, families, and individuals touched by Cancer by providing vital support for families and children as the navigate the variety of challenges the come with facing a cancer diagnosis and treatment. The mission of CAN came from a group of passion-filled volunteers who saw a drastic need in our community to aid cancer-stricken families and individuals whose lives were being turned upside down financially and emotionally. Facing a world of unknowns and forced to make life-changing medical decisions, as well as dealing with the mounting pressures of everyday living expenses. CAN helps when there is nowhere else to turn. CAN additionally offers free support groups, free nutrition programs, college scholarships for graduating seniors who are cancer survivors, and an extensive library for anyone in the community use. Every dollar raised stays locally in Southwest Florida and is tax deductible.
