October is National Bullying Awareness Month. At The Autism Hero Project, we believe that love must be at the center of everything we do—especially when it comes to addressing the painful reality of bullying. Today, we want to share Mariah’s story, one of our youngest ambassadors. Mariah has faced bullying, but instead of allowing it to define her, she stays grounded in love and gratitude, embodying strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Bullying is more than just hurtful words or actions; it’s a reminder that as a society, we still have work to do in fostering environments where every person feels seen, safe, and valued. For some, bullying is a daily struggle—a heartbreaking truth that no one should endure. So how do we change this? It starts with all of us. Organizations, schools, families, and communities need to come together to create cultures rooted in kindness, empathy, and respect. By teaching our children to lead with love and compassion, and by standing up for those who need our support, we can build a society where inclusion is the norm, not the exception. Let’s make love the loudest voice in every room. Let’s choose kindness over cruelty. Let’s raise awareness and ACT in a way that truly supports those facing bullying every day. Together, we can build a world where everyone belongs. 💙 #NationalBullyingAwarenessMonth #ChooseLove #InclusionMatters #EndBullying Caravel Autism Health
