NEW: We have partnered with 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now and Edge Research to release a new survey of over 400 West Virginia parents and guardians of school-aged children, revealing concerns over school quality and satisfaction, career readiness, and educational outcomes. As part of a nationwide effort to evaluate the current education landscape, the survey reached 20,000 respondents from July 8 to August 22, 2024. In West Virginia, the survey garnered responses from 402 families. According to the survey results, West Virginia ranked 45th in school satisfaction and 49th in families perceiving they have a choice in the school their child attends among all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
