About us
Care Camps is a national non-profit organization that funds medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada. We aspire to bring the healing power of community and the outdoors to children living with cancer and their families. We partner with the outdoor industry along with other business, foundations, and individuals to fund the camps. We support camps who are members of the Children’s Oncology Camping Association (COCA) which oversees their quality assurance and professional development. We are grateful for the legacy of a caring group of Kampground of America (KOA) owners who began fundraising to support pediatric oncology camps in 1984. We invite you to join our mission!
