Physician Leader/ER Doc. Former Deputy Commissioner of Public Health Services for New Jersey

Chapter One, Episode Six. "Prime Movers" I get to speak with Clay McClain who was the Deputy Incident Commander for NJ's All Hazards Incident Management Team at the beginning of the pandemic. He was instrumental in all the "beyond the scene" activity that brought a medical facility to an empty convention center. This week's episode of the Podcast is also the last that deals directly with the field hospital experience. Chapter Two which starts next week with the release of Episode #7. We switch our focus briefly to the perspective of front line providers during NJ's first wave in the Spring of 2020 before delving into the sustained public health response. Congratulations to our very own Rennier R. on his promotion to Chief Nursing Officer! Rennier joined CareWell Health in 2019 and was instrumental in successfully bringing the organization through the COVID pandemic. Starting as the Manager for 5 West, Rennier has since been promoted 3 times and has provided CWHMC a steady and consistent leadership for nursing as well as other departments. Rennier in conjunction with his colleagues, was instrumental in developing our “care team” model which has now been emulated by the largest systems across the state. We are so proud to have Rennier continue his career journey at CareWell Health. #theskyisthelimit
