Earlier this month, Carlyle Aviation Partners hosted its 9th annual charity football tournament in #Dublin at Energia Park. Congratulations to Waystone for winning the 2024 Stephanie Miller Memorial Cup after securing a 3-0 victory in the final against defending champions, Avolon. CCRT is a registered Irish charity with a compact team of volunteers dedicated to providing the highest level of care to cancer patients through continuous research and access to cutting edge clinical trials. Today, Carlyle Aviation Partners announced the closing of its fifteenth commercial aircraft asset-backed securitization, which issued $428 million of Secured Notes that will be used to purchase a portfolio of twelve aircraft, including ten narrowbody and two widebody aircraft. This deal marks the first commercial aircraft asset-backed securitization issuance in two years, signaling a re-opening of the market. Our team was happy to welcome LPs to Miami recently for our 2024 Carlyle Aviation Partners AGM. It was our first time gathering in person since 2019, and we enjoyed catching up with LPs. Here are the top three trends that emerged from the conference: 1. Global traffic recovery has continued to improve post-pandemic, surpassing 2019 levels in February 2024 of this year and propelling us to look toward new opportunities and challenges on the horizon. 2. The industry has also demonstrated strong recovery, as signaled by strong airline performance, rising lease rates, asset values, and a tight supply/demand environment. 3. Carlyle Aviation continues to strategically manage assets and broaden its capabilities, seeking to capture those opportunities in a growing commercial aviation market.   We'd also like to thank John Mowry from Alton Aviation Consultancy for giving a keynote session on the first evening of our conference, presenting on the latest trends in the commercial #aviation market in the post-COVID era.
