This just in! 📄 MATHia is used as an example in a new scientific paper on reimagining #education with #AI for providing streamlined individual learner support and insightful data. Thanks to Chief Scientist and Founder Steve Ritter for being an expert source! 💡
It is obvious that AI in its various forms will be increasingly used across all aspects and all levels of education. What is not obvious is how to get those rushing to use AI for various aspects of student learning and instructor teaching to do so in ways that are deeply informed by the findings and principals of learning science and education related research. This working paper (which will be published as a book chapter in 2025) offers some guidance on how to head in that direction. Thanks to co-authors Margherita PAGANI at SKEMA Business School and Jerry Wind at The Wharton School for giving me the opportunity to join their effort on creating this write up. And a big thanks to the experts who we had the privilege of interviewing for this article: Marsha Lovett, Ken Koedinger, Steve Ritter and Paul J. LeBlanc. https://lnkd.in/gw2nDDrR
