“There are no words to adequately express how incredible this inaugural class is and how much this group means to me, my family, and so many others. David and I have always been passionate about higher education and particularly about extending education resources and avenues to the best and brightest. We are so proud to support the next generation of leaders across the sport and entertainment management landscape, fostering their enthusiasm for learning and helping them to prepare for future careers in this competitive, rewarding field.” On Friday, Nicole Tepper spoke in front of approximately 400 graduates and guests at the University of South Carolina College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management (HRSM) Hooding and Cording Ceremony. The group included the inaugural graduating class of Tepper Scholars. Since 2020, the Tepper Scholars Program has awarded merit-based four-year scholarships to four incoming sport and entertainment management freshmen each year at the University of South Carolina. In addition, program participants receive ongoing personal mentorship from Nicole Tepper and team executives, hands-on internship opportunities with Tepper Sports & Entertainment through the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC organizations, and other exclusive enrichment opportunities. It was an honor for Team President Kristi Coleman to be the 2024 featured speaker for this event. We loved getting to have an insightful conversation with students and are especially proud of the David and Nicole Tepper Scholars at the University of South Carolina!
We're so grateful to Carolina Panthers President Kristi Coleman for joining us as the featured speaker for the 2024 edition of the Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Lecture! President Coleman shared her wealth of wisdom in a question and answer format, with HRSM Department of Sport and Entertainment Management Susan O'Malley and David and Nicole Tepper Scholars Hannah Margeson, Ambar Ferra and Devon Watson serving as moderators. The support of the Panthers owners, leadership and entire organization is immeasurably beneficial to the College of HRSM and all of the University of South Carolina.
