We’re honored to have earned first-place Gold recognition for “Best Use of AI in Healthcare” in the 2024 Merit Awards for Technology. “It is certainly an honor to be selected from among so many AI-powered health-tech solutions as the best solution in the market, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the many data scientists, clinicians and other team members, who since 2017, have been developing and improving the Carta Healthcare platform,” said Carta Healthcare CEO Brent Dover. “We are also grateful for recognitions like the Merit Awards that help raise awareness of how health systems can trust our AI-powered solution to automate clinical data abstraction, making abstraction faster and higher quality, at a much lower cost than manual efforts today.” Learn more about Carta Healthcare and the Merit Awards: https://bit.ly/3zYyz4z | #MeritAwards #MeritForTechnology #TechnologyAwards #ClinicalDataAbstraction

A recent article by Greg Miller in HIStalk addresses a common fear—AI will take all our jobs. But is this the reality? While the media fuels these concerns, healthcare tech leaders have a more nuanced view. The real question isn't whether AI will replace jobs, but how it can augment healthcare work. AI technologies, like ambient listening and EHR data abstraction, can save time and reduce burnout by handling administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus on what truly matters—patient care. Healthcare is at a critical juncture: those who embrace AI will lead, while others may fall behind under the weight of administrative overload. The future isn’t AI versus humans, but AI with humans, driving better outcomes together. Read the full article: https://bit.ly/4gNA6ej | #AI #HealthcareInnovation #FutureOfHealthcare #DigitalHealth

Our team is looking forward to attending the CV Transforum Fall'24, October 17 - 19, 2024 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, CO. We believe data is the single most important ingredient for improving healthcare. Traditional methods of data abstraction are time consuming, labor intensive, costly, and don’t always produce the highest quality data. Our mission is to ignite healthcare improvement by unlocking the power of clinical data. Let us know if you’ll be attending the leading conference for cardiovascular organizational performance solutions, and reach out to set up a time to meet with Joe Peck Davis, Greg Miller, or Dan Schuman! https://bit.ly/4ewtcZ9 | #CVTransforum #CardiovascularCare #HealthcareInnovation #ClinicalData #DataAbstraction MedAxiom - An ACC Company

New results reveal that clinical data abstractors view clinical registries as indispensable for evaluating care quality and population health outcomes. Three out of four (75%) participants attested that their organization predominantly uses registry data for quality and process improvement while 50% rely on the data to support population health initiatives. ⚠Yet despite the role of registries in improving care quality, clinical data abstractors reported these efforts were hampered by data inaccuracies (50%), data completeness (40%), and manual data entry (40%). “Our new survey results shed additional light on how and why leading health systems use clinical registry data, as well as the continued technological challenges that clinical data abstractors face in enabling data-driven patient care across their organizations,” said Carta Healthcare CEO Brent Dover. “To unleash the power of this data, clinical data abstractors must be able to more quickly and efficiently harvest, analyze and disseminate it and just as easily input information in a highly automated way that also ensures accuracy and completeness.” Read on for additional insights gained through the survey: https://bit.ly/3zypdwn | #ClinicalRegistryData #ClinicalDataAbstractors #DataDrivenCare #AccurateData
