We have important news to announce today! Tiny Health has appointed Dr Elisa Song as our Chief Medical Officer and Dr Taylor Sittler as our Board Director. When I first met Elisa Song, MD, it was like a meeting of souls, minds and a singular vision. Dr Song has been educating both parents and practitioners alike about the importance of pediatric gut health for decades and we just got started at Tiny Health. Together, we collaborated and created a professional-version of what we think is the best gut health test in the market: the PRO. When 1 in 2 kids are impacted by at least 1 chronic condition, we believe that there's no great mission than to tackle the root cause of these conditions by modulating the gut microbiome in early life. In the near future, we will be working towards our mutual vision of making pediatric gut health testing the standard of care for all infants, babies and kids. When I first met Taylor Sittler (shoutout to Julia Lipton), I think we spent 2 straight hours speaking about the parallels and learnings from his time at Color and how we may apply them to our clinical growth at Tiny Health. Taylor quickly became a true believer and an angel investor, right before our Series A. A few months later, he even became an avid customer when his son was born. Taylor has been a core part of our R&D and clinical team, and he brings both physician and founder/operator experience to support me on the board, alongside our incredible VC partners Sara Eshelman and Laura González-Estéfani. I am so grateful to have the support of two esteemed physicians and leaders in their field. Our meaningful work together has just begun! This week, for the 2nd year in a row, we'll be speaking at the A4M pediatric symposium in LA, which is chaired by Dr Elisa Song. Our Medical Director Taylor Soderborg, MD, PhD will present our research and knowledge on gut-immune development in the first 1,000 days and strategies to restore missing Bifidobacterium in our children. We have a lot more exciting news in store in the coming quarters - we hope that you'll follow along our journey and support us in changing the statistics in our chronic condition crisis, for both children and adults alike.
We’re proud to announce two incredible additions to the Tiny Health leadership team! 🎉 Elisa Song, MD, renowned integrative pediatrician, has been appointed Chief Medical Officer, and Taylor Sittler, a pioneer in genetics and women’s health, joins our Board of Directors. Both Dr. Song and Dr. Sittler bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion for transforming healthcare by addressing the root causes of chronic conditions—many of which start in the gut. Learn more about the significance of these leadership changes as we deepen our clinical research and broaden our network of practitioners: https://lnkd.in/gPicTERq Join us in welcoming Dr. Song and Dr. Sittler to the Tiny Health family! 💙 #guthealth #gutmicrobiome #microbiome #infanthealth #childrensdealth #pediatrichealth #womenshealth #integrativemedicine #guttesting
