Carter’s Charitable Foundation is stepping up to support families impacted by disasters in the U.S., including recent hurricanes, with a $50,000 donation to our long-standing partner, Save the Children US. This contribution will help to support children and families affected by emergencies in the U.S., such as providing essential supplies and emergency grants for childcare centers in need. We're also making an in-kind donation through Delivering Good, Inc. to help those in the hardest-hit areas. A former member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Carter’s CEO Mike Casey, recently spoke with BGCA’s Youth of the Year Finalists event hosted at Carter’s Atlanta Headquarters. He shared his journey and leadership insights, reflecting on the impact of Carter’s and BGCA’s partnership and his own experience growing up at the Boys & Girls Club. The advice that stuck with Mike most? “Winners never quit, and quitters never win,” which was a slogan printed on the gym of his local Connecticut Club. Each year, one exceptional Club member is selected to be the National Youth of the Year, serving as a role model, leader and advocate for more than 3.6 million youth served by Boys & Girls Clubs each year, and all of America’s young people. During our 2024 Field Leadership Conference, our amazing Retail Field Leaders packed Skip Hop backpacks full of essential school supplies for kids at Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier. Each backpack represents more than just supplies—it’s a boost of confidence and support for a successful school year! In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we were thrilled to come together to volunteer with Soccer in the Streets to support young soccer players in our community! We packed kits filled with essentials to help these athletes thrive on the field. We also created a fun space for kids to express their creativity and cheer on their teammates and families by designing their very own posters. The event was a great reminder of how important it is to support and uplift each other—on and off the field! Thank you, Carter’s volunteers! #lifeatcarters
