October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions of individuals with disabilities in the workforce. It's also a great reminder of the tools available to support the financial independence and future security of people with disabilities. One such tool is an ABLE account (Achieving a Better Life Experience). ABLE accounts allow individuals with disabilities and their families to save and invest money for qualified disability expenses—without affecting eligibility for important government benefits. These accounts offer tax advantages and can be a critical resource for planning long-term financial stability. If you or someone you know could benefit, now is the perfect time to review the advantages of opening or contributing to an ABLE account. Let’s continue to support inclusion, financial independence, and empowerment for all! Reach out to a Cary Street Partners financial advisor to discuss today: https://lnkd.in/eBW9_kpB

"Having a discussion with the family about your wishes helps the family grieve the loss with some grace, some dignity, and some peace of mind," says Todd Engmann in Peter McGraw's latest Solo podcast episode of Aging Single. The two discuss the importance of tools like the Family Love Letter, designed to help organize and communicate vital information to loved ones in case of incapacity or death. Thank you, Todd and Peter, for sharing important dialogue on a difficult subject. You can listen to the podcast here: https://lnkd.in/eqRZEcpA #FamilyLoveLetter
Regardless of your relationship status, you should check this out if you are over 50. Creating a "Love Letter" for the people who will take care of your estate when you die, is the kind and generous thing to do. Many thanks to my good friend (and Solo Ally) Todd Engmann for participating in this important episode. https://lnkd.in/eCyc2CGv
